As the Director of Information Security at Hulu, Emilio is responsible for all security-related decisions and investments across the company. Emilio leads the teams responsible for the security of Hulu’s infrastructure and product, as well as, the team dedicated to to security incident response. Prior to joining Hulu, Emilio ran the application security program for the PlayStation Network and also was the main person ensuring that all aspects of security was interacting with the rest of the business. Emilio also has a background with the NSA where he held several software engineering and engineering management positions related to security products and operations.
Emilio holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and is an active member of the security community and leads the development efforts for one of the most popular open source security tool.
